This evening is a charity fundraising event on behalf of LTPT, a 12-year old UK Trust set up to support pre-schools in Langa Township, Cape Town.
To date £270,000 has been spent on food, clothing, maintenance and new buildings, the equipment of offices and kitchens, security fencing, supplies and administration.
Funds are raised through donations and the profits of events, generally seven of these each year. The Trust is run by volunteers, who charge neither fees nor expenses so 97% of the available money goes to the pre-schools and the children
