‘Them Dirty Blues’ – a tribute to the music of altoist Cannonball Adderley, guitarist Wes Montgomery & pianist Bobby Timmons.
Saxophonist Matt Telfer, takes you on a humorous and heart felt journey of the very best in jazzy blues with his talented band, Them Dirty Blues.This five piece takes it’s name from the breath-taking 1960 album by The Cannonball Adderley Quintet, paying homage to the rich and lyrical variations that Jazz Blues has to offer while touching on it’s Gospel origins.
You’ll be hearing arrangements of jazz blues standards from, of course, the one and only Cannonball Adderley, Wes Montgomery and Bobby Timmons.
